Let’s quickly look at some numbers. Leonard Cohen released his first album when he was 33, Lil Peep his first mix tape when he was 18, and Juice Wrld uploaded his first track to SoundCloud (recorded on his cellphone) when he was 17. Lil Peep played his first show in 2016 and his last show in 2017. His first posthumous release was within 24 hours of his death. Juice Wrld has 30 billion streams on Spotify alone. Peep a paltry 8 billion. Both died aged 21. One on a tour bus, the other on a private jet.
