For the role of Rosie, I wanted to find a girl, preferably someone who hadn’t acted before, because I kinda looked at some of the actresses in Hollywood, and there was nobody that I saw that I really thought of being Rosie. And then Jimmy [Woods] mentioned Natasha Gregson Wagner, but when I found out that she was older I thought this was never going to work because she was about 25, I said, no, it’s gotta be someone 18, 19, 20, someone 25 is not gonna make it, but Jimmy had her come over anyway… and immediately I was just, she looked like she was 12 years old. I talked to her, we talked about the role. I was, once again, almost immediately, I was, er … I knew she was the one.
